Our Work
Our current projects focus on neonatal and maternal health education in low- resourced settings in the Dominican Republic. Through partnerships with the Ministry of Health, local hospitals, and nursing schools, we strive to empower providers with practical, simulation based hands-on training. Our hope is that this knowledge will lead to improved health outcomes in the moms and babies for whom our trainees care.

HBB(Helping Babies Breathe)/ABR (Ayudando a los Bebes Respirar)
This American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) program focuses on the initial steps of neonatal resuscitation to be accomplished within the Golden Minute and help support babies who do not breathe on their own at birth.
02
Essential Care for Every Baby (ECEB)/Cuidados Esenciales para Cada Bebe (CECB)
Another program from the AAP's Helping Babies Survive series, this simulation based education course teaches health care providers essential newborn care practices to keep all babies healthy from the time of birth to discharge from the facility.

03
Preventing
Pre-eclampsia/Eclampsia
